CA Dr. Varsha Ainapure has 34 years of academic experience of teaching Financial Accounting, IFRS, and Income Tax at UG, & PG levels. She is a recognised guide under the faculty of Commerce (Business Management) at University of Mumbai. 3 students have been awarded Ph. D. under her guidance. Her areas of interest are Financial Reporting, and IFRS. She retired as Professor & Head of the Department of Accountancy at Khandwala College. She is M. Com. (Advanced Accountancy & Costing) from University of Mumbai, FCA (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India), Ph. D. (Management) from SNDT University and a Post-Doctoral Fellow as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Fox School of Business, Temple University, Philadelphia, USA. She is widely known for the 40+ text books co-authored by her for the students of University of Mumbai on accountancy, taxation and auditing.
Dr. Satish Ailawadi possesses over 27 yr.s Industry experience in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Over 20 yr.s experience in teaching Operations. He has Authored a book on Logistics & Supply Chain Management (3rd edition). He has held the positions of Director at K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research, Mumbai, Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad, and Professor Emeritus, at Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad and Senior Professor & Head of Academics at Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management, Hyderabad.
Currently he is the Executive Director at School of Business and Technology, Aurangabad, and Group Mentor of MKES Business School, Mumbai. He has been an Adjunct Faculty at University of Applied Sciences, Steyr, Austria.
Dr. Charmi Shah has over 13 years of teaching experience in PGDM and MMS programs. She holds an M.Com. (Accountancy and Costing) from the University of Mumbai, as well as a PGDM (Finance) and a Ph.D. (Banking & Finance) under faculty of Commerce and Management from University of Mumbai. She teaches Corporate Finance, Derivatives, Advance Financial Management, Equity Valuation, Financial Modelling, Business Statistics and Operations Research.
Mr. Anil B. Kulkarni retired as professor of Marketing at SPJIMR 2019. He did his PGDM from IIM Calcutta. He has 19 years of industry experience and 31 years in academics of which 25 years at SPJIMR and the rest at MICA, Ahmedabad where he was its Director for six years. His areas of interest are Strategic Marketing, Marketing Simulations, Pricing, MEXL and Social Marketing. He has taught as visiting faculty at IIMA, IIMK, NIRMA Institute of Management, Mody University, and MDI in India and at universities in Germany, Dubai, Singapore and Trinidad and Tobago. He headed the initiative, The Learning Odyssey for the continuous improvement in the teaching capability of SPJIMR faculty.
Mr. Bhavya Goradia is currently working as Data Scientist eClerx Services. He has 4yrs experience in Corporates. He is a Robotics winner in IIT B. He has worked with FedEx, Kotak Mahindra Bank. He has keen knowledge in Python, Statistics, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Financial Modelling. He is a visiting Faculty at IAQS, SDBI, NMIMS and BSE.
Siddharth Parakh is a CA, CS & holds MBA degree. He has keen interest in Capital Markets, Strategy Consultancy and Mergers & Acquisitions. He has 12+ yrs. of work experience. Siddharth has completed his MBA in Finance & Consulting from SPJIMR and Cornell University, New York, with Dean's Top 5 recognition.
He was felicitated with the prestigious ‘Economic Times Young Leader 2019’ award (touted as India’s version of Forbes 30under30) thereby making into the coveted ranking of India’s emerging business leaders.
Currently he is working with TATA Son’s Group as Chairman and Group CFO’s team in Investments, M&A and Strategy.
Prof. Rukaiya Joshi has 14yrs. Experience in teaching as a professor in SPJIMR in the areas of Leadership & Social Sector Management. She was a Chairperson of Centre for Education in Social Sector (CEdSS), Post Graduate Program in Development Management (PGPDM).
CA Ajay Gupta is a Sr. Director in Cap Gemini. He has over 27 years of experience in Risk Management, Internal audits, ERP Implementation, Due Diligence, Business Analyst, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance and Information Systems (IS) Audits. In his current role, he manage Shared Service Centre for Nordic countries. Earlier, he led the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solutions in Cap Gemini.
